In this project overview, we'll share a recent project where we unpacked and transformed various spaces within a home into functional, visually appealing havens.
Unpacking and Space Planning: A Solid Foundation
The unpacking journey began by assessing each room's potential. Measurements were taken to ensure that every closet and shelf space was optimized. This important step laid the foundation for effective space planning, where every inch was thoughtfully utilized to create an organized and efficient layout.
The Playroom, Homeschool Space & Craft Closet
With the heart of the home being where the family spends a significant amount of time, the playroom and homeschool area became top priorities. The challenge was to balance functionality while ensuring a space where learning and creativity seamlessly intertwined.
To achieve this, chancellor bins & a rolling cart were introduced. The focus was on creating a balance where education and fun coexisted. The chancellor bins used on shelves discreetly stored educational essentials, reducing clutter and maximizing learning opportunities. The rolling cart could be used as a flexible solution for homeschooling, as a space for grab-and-go lesson supplies.
The simplicity of the craft closet was a very important factor in this space, we transformed the craft closet by utilizing existing bins, shoe bins, and multipurpose bins. The simple layout and clear labels simplified the space, making items easily accessible and enhancing creativity.
Organized With a Touch of Pink
“Organized with a touch of pink” was the perfect vision for the girls’ closets. Our organizers created a space where matching hangers brought a sense of uniformity while also saving all important hanging space. Pink rope baskets were chosen to hide away clutter and created a perfect balance of girly aesthetic and organization. Our closets should be more than just a storage space - allow them to reflect personalities!
A Kitchen that Balances Form and Function
The kitchen plays a central role in every home, making it an extra important space on many projects. The focus for the kitchen was to create a balance between visually appealing and functional, while keeping in mind the family’s busy lifestyle. Division was created within drawers, ensuring every category had a home. Storage for medication and vitamins was created using divided bins to ensure safety while blending in with the rest of the kitchen storage.
