frequently asked.

  • The short answer is… no! Some of our favorite projects have been done while clients have been on vacation and get the surprise transformation when they return.

We understand that our clients run busy lives and do not expect you to take off of work or put your life on hold for sessions. If your project involves a lot of decluttering, there will be more communication needed on what can go, as we will never take items out of your home without your permission.

In these instances, we will either leave “look through” homework for clients in between sessions or send photos to clients as we work to get feedback if they are not home during the session.

  • The final cost of product can greatly vary throughout projects.

The cost may be lower if you already have some product to work with (we will always work with what you have first,) or you are okay with budget friendly options. The cost may be higher if we’re starting with a blank space or you prefer higher end supplies.

We will always send over a visual with cost estimates (and often have optional items to adjust the budget) before purchasing!

  • We will always suggest or encourage letting go of items that do not seem to benefit you or your space, but we will NEVER force or pressure you to do so.

Minimizing is about finding a space that is comfortable for you. A space that is packed full may not look as “Instagram worthy” in its after photo, but we can still create functional systems within the space and leave you with tips for moving forward.

  • Virtual sessions are all done online, while hands-on are all done in the home.

Virtual sessions are a good option for you if:
    - Our team is not local to you.
    - You feel like you can get the project done but need some guidance and accountability.
    - You’re working with a smaller budget.

Hands-on sessions are a good option for you if:
    - Our team is local to you.
    - You would like us to just get it done for you.
    - You need assistance with the physical labor of organizing.

  • Our team works in three hour sessions for hands-on and relocation services. We will quote your project based on the number of sessions needed after the consultation. If additional time is needed for your project, that time can be added at an hourly rate. For clients who start with a package of sessions at a discount, any additional time is added at the same discounted rate. Virtual sessions are quoted based on the size & complexity of the space.

  • Once a session or package of sessions is purchased, those hours do not expire. If any time is left unused, it can be put toward a future project or maintenance services.

  • Our team will put together shelving and furniture, but we will not drill anything into your walls. If you are looking for custom shelving, we do work with a local company who will complete the installation at an additional cost. If your project includes any product that needs installation (peg boards, floating shelves, etc.,) we ask that you hang these items yourself, or we will refer a handyman service who can join us on installation day.

  • Each home is different - both the size of the home and the amount that is kept in it varies from client to client. Our team can also work faster with more team members present. This makes it pretty tricky for us to give a "one size fits all" answer, but here are some general time ranges for a team of 3: kitchen (3-5 hours), pantry (2-5 hours), primary closet (3-8 hours), primary bathroom (2-4 hours), storage/garage (10-16 hours.) Our team can give you a time range for your project after a virtual or in-home consultation.
